My latest project: E2022 of the Wesleyan Holiness Women's Clergy Conference

I am thrilled to present one of my favorite projects, the empowering branding of the E2022 Wesleyan Holiness Women's Clergy Conference (WHWC). An event dedicated to celebrating, teaching, and empowering women from all walks of life in ministry and leadership, this project holds a special place in my heart, as empowering women in leadership is one of my greatest passions.

The journey began with a singular purpose—to craft a brand identity that encapsulates the spirit of unity, strength, and progress for the theme of the conference: [HER]Story. As a team, we understood that this conference deserved more than just a logo and some colors; it demanded an vision of solidarity, a visual representation that resonates deeply with every woman aspiring to shatter glass ceilings and embrace their God-given potential and calling.

With an arsenal of creativity and strategic acumen, we delved into the heart of this project. We immersed ourselves in the historical stories of incredible women in ministry who have triumphed over adversity and redefined the very essence of empowerment. Their courage and resilience ignited a spark within us, propelling us to create something extraordinary. Because of their history, we created the theme around the conference to be about [HER]Story. Our stories stand on the shoulders of the women who came before us.

The result? A breathtaking brand identity that reflects the diversity and power of womanhood. Each element was thoughtfully curated to evoke a sense of belonging, pushing boundaries, and fostering an environment where dreams flourish.

The Brand

The Logo

We chose a simple logo to highlight the history of the women who have gone before us. To add more visual interest, we leaned heavily on photographs with the logo to highlight the focus on women and their stories.

The Color Palette

In honor of the nonprofit that runs the conference, we selected Wesleyan Holiness Women Clergy's main golden colors and supplemented them with black and gray. This allowed the palette to flow seamlessly between the organization's branding and the conference's branding; showing unity and alignment while highlighting the more modern women in leaderships' style.

The Photography

One of our team's greatest values is highlighting and supporting diversity. We strove to reflect that in all our marketing assets, from our website to print materials to our social media posts. We wanted every woman to see herself represented in our brand—to let her know that she is part of the legacy.

We also were intentional with supporting our Latina women in ministry. We translated our assets and created the brand with Spanish-speakers in mind.

As the bi-annual WHWC conference commenced, it heralded a momentous occasion of unity and empowerment. Never before had the event been adorned with such a unique brand identity, one that resonated deeply with the hearts of women in ministry nationwide. A powerful vision, a catalyst for connection, this movement left an unforgettable imprint on the souls of all who were fortunate enough to be part of its inspiring presence.

At the forefront of this transformative journey was our team, and I, as the Creative Director, led the charge in crafting the immersive branding experience. Every brushstroke, every pixel, every detail poured from our hearts, and we were driven by the conviction that this conference deserved nothing short of brilliance. We embarked on a mission to craft a brand that would serve as a powerful beacon, drawing women from all corners to a place where they could connect, relate, and grow.

As the conference unfolded, we witnessed the transformative power of our labor of love. Eyes lit up with wonder, hearts connected in harmony, and a powerful energy filled the air—a testament to the success of this endeavor.

The WHWC conference proved to be a magnificent convergence of creativity and purpose. Witnessing the positive impact on the women who attended was a humbling experience—a reminder that our craft can be a force for profound change.

I am so incredibly proud of this project. Not just of the branding crafted, but of the collective journey we embarked upon and the experience we created for all the women who were a part. It will definitely be a project I will forever be proud of and carry with me.
